Stacking the Shelves (#20)

Still on the book buying ban (less than a week to go!) so all freebies & review books again this week.  Exams finally finished this week so this week was fairly horrid and stressful, but I’m so glad they’re over! I’d like to say it’s chilling out time, but unfortunately not. Firstly, I have to find both my passport (for a trip in about a month!!!) and my partner’s kindle, which are nowhere to be seen. Then I have dissertation work, masters applications and all the usual day-to-day goings on. Who said students never do anything but get drunk?!

Review books:

The Art of Leaving (From the publisher, Alma Books) | The Emerald Tablet (from the author, Joshua Silverman)

Kindle Freebies

The Kings of Charleston | Exiled | Where She Belongs | Touched by the light | Kinky | Talisman of El

This week on the blog:

On a totally non-bookish note, I’m also back on the weight watchers wagon now that exams are over. Fingers crossed!

Did you get any great books this week?

Looks like many of you got The Art of Leaving this week – I keep seeing it everywhere! :) It looks fantastic, though. Hope it’s just as good as it looks!

Enjoy all your new books and have a lovely Sunday!

  8. I am glad that you are on this end of your exams. Now, for the dissertation. I am also on a book buying ban, but bought a book this week. I know, bad, but I have a review for a second in series that I have been wanting to read, so I bought the first. Have a great week.

  11. Exiled is the only one I’m familiar with out of the ones you get this week. I got it from NetGalley a while back. It was better than I thought, but not a standout book IMO. Hope you enjoy them all!

Check out my SP & STS.
